The PIMIC Final Forum (Power & Institutions in Medieval Islam and Christendom) is a two-day event for policy makers, journalists, lawyers, and academics. PIMIC has been a four-year project by leading scholars of Western, Byzantine and Islamic history examining the development of institutions in those regions. The Final Forum brings together international experts to discuss the modern institutional differences between the Islamic and Christian world through this never-before-considered lens: that of medieval history. The PIMIC project is the first of its kind, and the Final Forum will generate dialogue and insights that will be crucial to policy-makers moving forward.
